We heavy hearts we share the news of Tammy Blanchard's passing. Mrs. Blanchard taught English at New Plymouth High School for the past four years.

2-HOUR DELAY FOR NP HIGH SCHOOL ONLY
As of 6:45 this morning, we have power at our elementary and middle schools. The power is currently out at our high school and much of that side of town. Idaho Power shows that power will restored around 8:30 am.
High school bus riders will catch the bus at their normal time and be at the middle school until the power is restored.

Our school district community is mourning the passing of Karma Hunsaker on October 9th due to liver cancer.
With grant funds from a charitable organization, the New Plymouth School District is able to offer grants to school district employees to help pay for educational expenses.
Ocie Atagi, a sixth grader at New Plymouth Middle School, was selected along with 12 other students in the state to serve on the statewide Student Advisory Council. See the press briefing below for more information on the Student Advisory Council.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Darrell Brown on Thursday, August 12th. Our community is missing a good one.
On August 9, 2021, the New Plymouth School Board approved the calendar committee's recommendation to move to a four-day school week in the 2022-23 school year. Other action items in the regular, monthly board meeting included the approval of the Master Contract for teachers and a Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan.
