Goals to Be Created in Strategic Planning Subcommittee Meetings

We are continuing our work on the New Plymouth School District's Strategic Plan for the next five to ten years. We appreciate all the feedback we have received from our school district stakeholders as we have established focus areas and priorities for the plan. The next step in the process is to establish the specific goals for the plan, which will take place on the dates below.

Public Forum with Elected Officials

This quarter we have invited some of our elected officials to speak in our public forum, which will be on Wednesday, December 7th at 6:00 pm in our NP Elementary School library.

Quarterly Public Forums

This year our school district will be hosting quarterly public forums. These public forums will provide an opportunity for members of our community to ask questions about our school district, share insights, and hear information about our schools. The public forum for the first quarter will be on Wednesday, October 19th at 6:00 pm in the New Plymouth Middle School Library.

Seeking Strategic Planning Committee Members

As our school district continues to work on strategic planning for the next 5-10 years, our school board is seeking input and involvement from our stakeholders. The New Plymouth School District Office is located at 222 N Plymouth Ave, Suite A, New Plymouth, ID 83655. (In the northwest corner of the Truckstop.com Building.)
 
 
The New Plymouth School District serves approximately 1,000 students pre-K through 12th grade at three schools: New Plymouth Elementary School, New Plymouth Middle School, and New Plymouth High School. The mission of the New Plymouth School District is to provide exemplary education through school and community. The vision for how the district will achieve that mission is to build relationships of trust, understanding, and collaboration with all of the district’s stakeholders; to provide rigorous learning experiences that meet the individual needs of our students; and to utilize relevant curriculum, methods, and other instructional resources in our schools. In summary, the combined mission and vision of the New Plymouth School District is to provide exemplary education by fortifying relationships, rigor, and relevance.
