School Board, New Plymouth #372
The governing board for the New Plymouth school district meets the second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. During school months, meetings are held in the Library of New Plymouth High School. Summer meeting points and deviations from normal meeting places are published at the district office. Meetings are open and all patrons and visitors of the New Plymouth School District are encouraged to attend.
Board members are elected to 4 year terms by members living within their voting areas. School board elections and position openings are announced in the local newspaper well in advance of the election date. Patrons interested in the process can get further information by calling the district office, 278-5740, during normal business hours.
The next school board meeting will be held on January 9, 2012. Agendas are published at the district office monthly.
